New Bravias get Freesat; Bravo Sony!
Sony has ripped off the wrappers on its new Freesat-toting Bravias
Not content with unleashing the Xperia X2 at IFA Sony’s also unveiled two brand new Sony Bravia TVs packing none other than our old friend Freesat!
Sony’s two new models, the W5810 and Z5800 Bravias, both come boasting DVB-S2 tuners, which means you don’t need a set-top box to get more than a handful of TV channels. Just hook it up to your dish and away you go…
Both the Sony W5810 and Z5800 Bravias are full-HD – that means 1920×1080p, with 100Hz technology on the inside. There’s also a whopping 100,000:1 contrast ratio. And that means blacks as black as our dark hearts, and whites as bright as a nuclear explosion.
The W5810 will come in 32, 37, 40, 46 and 52-inch models, while the Z5800 will ‘only’ come in 40, 46 and 52-inch sizes. Looks like you’ll be able to snaffle one of these up in time for next year’s World Cup Finals. What better way to watch England crash out on penalties?

I think you will find the Z5800 is 200hz. Both are blinding TV's tho!
