New Apple iPods to be unveiled September 9?
What will September 9 bring? New iPods, updated iTunes and an Apple Tablet? All of the above?
Everyone’s speculating when exactly Apple will be revealing its latest updated line-up of world-beating iPods. The latest date flying around the internet suggests that September 9 is the day!
If true then we only have to wait a couple of weeks before Apple unveils its new iPod line-up. The jewel in the crown is likely to be a built-in 3.2-megapixel camera for the iPod touch, not dissimilar to that found in the iPhone 3GS. But there’s also likely to be a new nano and the unveilling of iTunes 9.
What’s so exciting about iTunes 9? Well, it’s supposedly going to have social networking superpowers built in. So pals can keep bang up to date with what you’re listening to, from Latin crooner Enrique Eglesias’ latest offering to The Veronicas’ latest warblings.
And who knows? Maybe Apple will also reveal the much-rumoured and much hyped Apple Tablet. We guess we’ll find out come September 9… maybe!

Im thinking of getting a Ipod touch..... does it get borring after a while of is it one of those things u cant live with out? also should i wait for them to anounce there new ipods?

No Thakrim it doesn't really get boring, Mostly because of the software updates and the new apps. It's a great device and it's very useful with all the Maps and Apps it has to offer most of which are free. I think you should defiantly try out an ipod before you buy it but as I say I think you'll find it great to use and play with and maybe buy one in the future. Also I think you should wait just to see what the new ipod touch has to offer before you go ahead and buy a Ipod touch 2G.

Cameras in everything! Is there a gadget in the world today that doesn't have a camera function? I have a Camera..with a camera function, I have a camcorder with a camera function, I have a phone with a camera function....soon I can have an iPod with a camera function....I look forward to my kettle with a camera function and toilet roll holder with a camera function. Social Networking EVERRRYWHERE! Is there a service anywhere these days that doesn't have social networking? One upon a time I could use hotmail just for e-mail....ok...but how about we add in social networking, then it will be easier to keep in touch with my friends.....ok....and then Friends reunited could do the same.....and then skype.....oh and bebo and plaxo and twitter, twotter, twooter......and i-TUNNNNES! AGHHHHHHHH!

OMG a ipod touch with a 3.2 megapixel camera sounds coooool i have the very first ipod touch and now i wish i waited cos now theres one with a camera on it :( , thats one thing that anoys me is that they always make something and then they make another one even betteer than the last one and then they make another and it just keeps on going its the same with everthing tvs, playstations, cameras, phones. and it will always be like that

Am hoping they have addressed the capasity issue on the touch, 32Gb is far too small if you are into music, so hoping they match the classic or have more functions on the classic, ie touch screen
