Get set for more Android action with the XT300

Motorola’s got a lot of love for Android, what with it saving the mobile maker from oblivion and all. So it’s no surprise to see another Google effort from the people behind the Milestone and the Backflip slip out online.

This time it’s the Motorola XT300, a portrait slider which rocks a QWERTY keyboard. Think Palm Pre or BlackBerry Torch and you get the idea. It’s said to come packing a 3.2 megapixel camera, while the screen is somewhat on the small side.

The suggestion is that this will be a bargain bucket Android blower when it eventually gets the official nod, pitting itself against touchscreen numbers like the HTC Wildfire. Either way, if you’re keen on Google’s OS but can’t stand touchscreens, this could well be the way to go.
