Motorola DEXT Android handset outed
Could DEXT be Moto's much needed RAZR replacement?
Remember Motorola? It used to make some pretty snazzy handsets back in the day. Before Apple started devouring the mobile market and everyone else upped their game.
But it looks like Moto could be back in the stadium at least with its brand spanking new DEXT handset. Not only does it stand out as being non-ugly, but it sports Google’s Android mobile OS so it’s got that instant swank factor.
It’s not plain vanilla Android either – it’s a pimped up Motoblur edition, which provides finger friendly access to all the lasted happenings across your social networks, all in real time.
It’s face is filled by the standard touchscreen, but there’s a slide out Qwerty tapper underneath. You also get Wi-Fi, 3G, GPS and that all important standard 3.5mm headphone jack so you can listen to music on your favourite ear trumpets.
If all that sounds like your perfect mobile, then the good news is there really isn’t long to wait – the DEXT will be hitting Orange next month.
