Moneual's DSPC case has its own screen
A PC case you won't stop looking at
There’s not too much you can do differently with a PC case, right? It seems quirky PC maker Moneual disagrees, for its latest creation features a vertical screen on the front of the tower.
The Moneual Lab DSPC – or Dual Screen PC – certainly demands to be looked at, meaning you won’t be tucking it away underneath a desk anytime soon.
At this point the technical details are still a bit thin on the ground, but we do know Moneual’s plan is that you use the oddly proportioned screen to display regularly viewed widgets such as for the weather and the latest news headlines, saving your main screen for other uses.
It’s an odd concept, but one that did pick up an honourable mention in the CES 2011 Innovations awards. Which should no doubt be of some consolation when you’re handing over the $1,500 asking price the DSPC has been tagged with in the US.
