Meridian makes CDs sound better than the original
Yours for a snip at £10K
Meridian has launched the 808.3 Signature Reference CD Player, a cutting edge piece of reference audio kit that makes a bold claim: it’ll make your CDs sound better than when the music was first recorded.
The third generation of the 808 series features a custom CD-ROM drive which Meridian says improves data recovery and error correction many times better than standard CD playback systems.
Throw in Meridian’s proprietary DSP-based “apodising” up-sampling system and triple FIFO data buffering and you’ve got every possibility that CDs will sound better than ever before.
Thanks to a built-in ID40 Sooloos card, the 808.3 is able to hook up with Meridian’s impressive Sooloos digital media system to spread that beautiful music around the home, while a range of colour options beside the main graphite, silver and black ensure it’ll be a perfect fit wherever you put it.
All you need from your side is £10,000 and the Meridian 808.3 can be yours as soon as next month.
