Marmitek streams tunes on the cheap

Marmitek streams tunes on the cheap Kill the wires and get streaming for under £70? You’re on!

Marmitek – a company whose name is one letter away from Britain’s most loved and hated confectionary brand spread upon toast – has decided to release a budget wireless streamer. Trust us, you’ll either love it or hate. But most probably, given the price, love it.

You see, the Speaker Anywhere200 only costs £69. That’s pretty impressive work considering the Sonos streamers cost upwards of ten times that amount!

It works, not by Wi-Fi, bt via a transmitter that you stick in your hi-fi, telly or iPod. You can then plonk the speakers anywhere you like and have your tunes follow you around like an obedient puppy.

We’re not going to kid ourselves, or you, that for a sub-£70 streaming system you’re going to get high-end audio quality. But for the price, there’s no cheaper way to eliminate wires and stream your tunes.
