LOVEFiLM signs up ABC TV to bring best U.S shows to UK
In its battle with the recently launched Netflix UK service, LOVEFiLM has signed a streaming deal with ABC TV to bring some of the best American television series to UK customers.
It means that, from this month, UK LOVEFiLM customers will have access to one of the most impressive libraries full of hit TV shows around. That’s right you’ll be able to watch such classics as Grey’s Anatomy, Castle, Desperate Housewives and pretty much anything else that takes your fancy!

More televisual highlights include Ghost Whisperer, Brothers & Sisters and all six seasons of Lost. Full seasons of each show will launch after they first run on UK pay and/or free TV, although LOVEFiLM also says many previous series will be available to watch before the next season airs on UK TV – so you won’t be playing catchup while watching newer episodes.
The ABC TV deal follows recent sign-ups of BBC and ITV content to LOVEFiLM, who also recently signed a deal with Sony and Warner Bros to bring more top shows to the streaming TV and film service. LOVEFiLM recently introduced an unlimited streaming-only package starting from £4.99 per month.
LOVEFiLM customers are able to watch the shows from connected Smart internet televisions, through Xbox 360, Sony PS3 and from a computer and laptop, where the film streaming service is currently available.
