Live the dream with the Red Bull racing sim For the dedicated F1 racing game fan

Let’s face it: for most of us, the closest we’re going to get to getting behind the wheel of an F1 car is to hook up F1 2010 and use our imaginations.

Well, that just got a little easier thanks to Playseat’s new Red Bull-branded racing simulator. This is no mere metal and bolts gaming seat – it’s sculpted to look just like 2010’s Red Bull charger piloted by new world champion Sebastian Vettel, and even carries the German’s number from last year – 6 – on the side.

According to Playseat the simulator has been designed to put you in the same position relative to the wheels and pedals that you’d have sitting in this year’s Red Bull RB7 – that means your feet aren’t far below your head, and you’re practically lying down.

The simulator is compatible with any gaming system, and though it’s a natural partner to your favourite F1 game, it’ll be quite at home with any driving game. Provided you have the space, the only other thing you’ll need to get a Red Bull simulator of your own is the small matter of $1,300.
