LG Arena KM900 gets official; we rejoice!
LG Arena KM900 is as cool as ice (cubes). Sorry
You may remember us talking about the LG Arena KM900 last week, well LG has decided enough is enough and officially released some specs for this pretender to the touchscreen throne.
We already told you that it has a five-megapixel camera and three-inch touchscreen.but LG’s now revealed that there’s a whole host of other features, including FM radio, DivX support, Dolby technology, A-GPS, HSDPA, Wi-Fi and pretty much every other acronym you can think of!
Possibly the shiny jewel in the touchscreen crown, though, is the 3D S-class user-interface. As you can see from the picture, it’ll have a cube-like browsing system that you spin around with the touch of a finger. Imagine a Rubix cube stuck on a pole and you spinning it round and that’s pretty much what you’ve got. The cube will provide four customizable home screens for direct access to your music, movies and other fetures.
Whether the interface will take off remains to be seen, but we think it sounds pretty nifty. There’s still no word on a release date, but expect more details at Mobile World Congress later this month.
