LG Android tablet on the way
LG to bring Android to a new tablet
LG has just confirmed that it will be releasing its very own Android tablet, set for release for the end of the year. The company already has a Windows 7 touchscreen device on the way, but it’s decided to throw its hat into the Android ring and join its Korean competitor Samsung.
The Google-toting tablet is set to be reality before the end of 2010. There are hints that it’ll be somehow improved on current offerings on the market, but as yet there’s no indication as to what specs it’ll be rocking.
There’s also no word on which version of Android it’ll be shipped with, but given that Android 3.0 FroYo is set for release at around the same time this year, we’re hoping that it ships straight with the news OS, if not primed for an update.

Just a point to note: As far as I'm aware Android 3.0 is 'gingerbread' FroYo is 2.2

I thought FroYo was Android 2.2 (which by the way appeared as an OTA update on my phone (nexus one) at the weekend here in UK.
