Lenovo LePad K2 quad-core tablet or Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime?
The Lenovo LePad K2 is coming and could well be a great alternative to the Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime. It is only the second tablet in the world to feature a quad-core processor. Now some of its specs have been revealed. Is it the all conquering tablet it promises to be?
Originally, the first tablet to sport a quad-core processor is the Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime – a tablet capable of turning itself into a laptop via a detachable keyboard dock. So the Lenovo LePad K will be expected to take on the Eee Pad Transformer for all it is worth.
Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime details revealed: Coming this December
Up to now little had been known about the Lenovo LePad K2, but some internal testing results have already revealed some its specs sooner than the company planned.
For instance, we now know that the Lenovo LePad K2 tablet has an NVIDIA Tegra 3 dual-core processor, and a 10.1-inch display with a screen resolution of 1920×1152 capable of displaying full HD video and 2GB of RAM.
5 reasons to buy the Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime
The device has been spotted to run the Android 3.2 Honeycomb operating system, however, this is like to be updated to the newer Ice Cream Sandwich OS. As of now the full specs of the device have yet to be released.
A release date for the Lenovo LePad K2 has yet to be announced. But for those that like the idea of a quad-core tablet, the Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime, complete with detachable keyboard dock, hits the shelves next month.
