Lenovo Ideapad Y560d – new dimensions in laptop design
The Lenovo Ideapad Y560d is now on sale, and it brings 3D capabilities for those who want an added dimension to their gaming and movie-watching.
The company’s first 3D laptop was announced last month and is now available on Lenovo’s retail website for $1,499. That outlay also gets you some decent specs over and above the 3D smarts – there’s 1.6GHz CPU, Windows 7 Home Premium, 4GB of RAM and a 500GB hard drive.
The HD-ready LCD display is 15.6 inches and sports TriDef technology to provide the extra dimension. This means that you will need 3D specs for the experience. There’s also a Photo Transformer thrown in that will covert your boring old 2D snaps into glorious 3D.
