Leica Pinmaster improves your handicap
Leica caddy, but it won't carry your golf clubs
“Fore!” That is something you won’t be saying much of with this latest golfing gizmo – the Leica Pinmaster. Not only does it give you a super-sharp view of the pin from wherever you are on the hole, but it also beams out lasers to tell you how far away from the green you are.
If your handicap’s about as high as the course is long, then you’ll need the Leica Pinmaster to help get it down. Firstly, forget asking your caddy what club to use. The Pinmaster will do it for you. Just hold it steady, zoom in on the flag with the 7x magnification and blast out a laser for it to give you the correct distance away from the hole.
The Leica Pinmaster works correct up to a whopping 820 yards away and it displays the information on an LED panel. You can adjust this golfing gizmo to your eyesight and it even works with glasses.
Worried it might be cheating? Fear not stickler. The Leica Pinmaster is allowed under governing body rules. Out at the end of this month with a price tag of £469, Tom Watson must have been wishing the Open had been a few weeks later.
