JVC flips Flip the bird with the PICSIO GC-FM1
Flip must be Flipping out! JVC’s just unveiled a multi-coloured range of Flip-alike HD camcorders, with an interesting style and a just as catchy monicker – introducing the JVC PICSIO GC-FM1!
The craze surrounding HD camcorders that you can conceal in the palm of your hand doesn’t seem to be abating. And anyone who likes feeling like a giant, holding tiny gadgets in massive hands, will be just as fond of the JVC PICSIO GC-FM1. It weighs just 95g and measures a mere 53×97x17mm. That’s as slender as two twiglets one on top of the other!
Elsewhere the JVC PICSIO GC-FM1 has an eight-megapixel sensor for still photos, and can capture 1080p Hi-Def video snapped in H.264 format, so you can stick vids straight on YouTube, no messing. You can forget about built-in memory, but you can shoot to SDHC memory card, so no worries there.
And how much is JVC going to charge for this Flip HD-baiting ‘corder? A mere £170 – a price as small and appealing as the PICSIO GC-FM1!
