It's Story time with iRiver

It's Story time with iRiver iRiver Story - just in time for Christmas

Anyone who thought the eBook reader market was all about Sony and Amazon must have had their noses stuck in a particularly good book over the last month, and iRiver is the latest to join the party with the versatile Story.

Its variation on the theme comes dressed all in white and has a full QWERTY keyboard below its 6in display so you can edit documents and take notes.

It works with all the main commercial eBook formats, displays a variety of image file formats and plays MP3s too, either through the headphone socket or through its own speaker. Completing the deal is a built-in microphone for making audio recordings of your own.

All that versatility requires plenty of storage space, and the Story has 2GB of its own built in, which you can bump up by as much as 32GB thanks to the SD card slot. This multi-tasking page-turner is available immediately for £229.
