iRiver outs T8 MP3 dongle
iRiver T8 – tiny and mighty
iRiver has just announced a new USB stick/MP3 player, named the T8 Dongle. Given its miniscule proportions – it clocks in at 26×83.5×12.8mm – it’s a clear alternative for those who are looking for an iPod Shuffle alternative.
The iRiver T8 comes in 2GB and 4GB flavours and it’ll also play nice with pretty much any music file you throw at it – MP3, WMA, WAV, APE, FLAC, OGG and AAC. Nice.
It also has a whopping 15 hours of claimed battery life, an FM radio tuner and a voice recorder. And because it’s essentially a USB stick, you can plug it straight into your PC with minimum fuss.
Pricing on the T8 hasn’t been revealed yet, but you can bet it’s going to be a wallet-pleasing MP3 option.

This looks great! Really funky colours, and is just a cool little thing! My only concern is that a lot of these USB MP3 pleyers are very fiddly too use. This is because a lot of the buttons have a few functions, and the screens are very small often with to much info them! But saying this They are always cheap and cheerful.
