Iriver E50 rocks with style
Is the iRiver E50 good enough to knock the iPod Nano off its pedestal?
IRiver is the latest company attempting to kick Apple in the pods, this time with its new E50 MP3 player.
So what’s this got that’s going to send the Nano running back with its headphone chord between its legs? Well, just look at it. This is style personified… or should that be machinified? Either way, it’s super-stylish with a slimline, brushed aluminium case.
On the inside it’s equally beautiful, coming in a range of sizes from 2GB to 8GB so you can store all of your gangsta rap and death metal tunes. It also has an FM radio, built-in mic, supports playback for MP3, OGG, FLAC, WMA, WAV and SMV formats and has a delightful 1.8-inch screen.
It’ll be hitting the stores in early 2009 with a price floating around the £60 mark. Can’t say fairer than that now.
