iPhone coasters – for the Apple fan who has everything There's a coaster for that...

Stuck for a Christmas stocking filler for that Apple fanboy in your life? We give you the iPhone Coaster of course.

Coming in sets of six, the iPhone Coasters feature 10cm-square enlargements of default iPhone app icons, which – we are assured – are authentic original 1.1.4 firmware renderings. And they’re not just good-looking, either: a non-slip cork backing ensures they stay put, and the surface is heat resistant to keep your coaster icon protected.

There are three sets of six coasters to choose from, each costing £20, plus £4 for postage. The Core Apps set featuring SMS, Calendar, Phone, Mail, Safari and iPod icons, the Home Apps set includes Notepad, Settings, Camera, Calculator, Clock and Address Book icons and the Media Apps set comes with Maps, YouTube, Stocks, Video, Weather and Photos coasters.

Excitable iPhone fans take note, however: the iPhone Coasters website makes it clear that the coasters won’t actually turn your coffee table into a giant iPhone: “They’ll only make it look like a giant iPhone. You can tap on them and move them about, but they’re still just coasters.” Maybe that’s coming next Christmas…
