iPhone 4G could have camera flash
iPhone 4G – no longer keeping us in the dark?
The next version of the iPhone could come with a flash for the camera. Hot on the heels of the iPhone OS 4.0, US commentators have speculated that the iPhone 4th gen may finally get the sorely-missed appendage for its camera. In fact, some pundits are also suggesting that there will also be a second front-facing camera for video calling.
Website AppleInsider has uncovered three new features that could hold the secret, named “AVCaptureDevice.hasFlash”, “AVCaptureDevice.flashMode” and “AVCaptureDevice.hasTorch”, all of which point to an extra light source on the device.
With an improvement on digital zoom already confirmed it looks as though Apple may finally be upping its game in terms of improving its oft-maligned camera capabilities. The new iPhone is set to appear later this year, so watch this space.

They can't have flash player as it interferes with their servers as some video playbacks carry viruses and Apple have not accepted the proposal.

Has anyone got an update on when the new iphone is getting released as i am also due an upgrade. Is it worth holding off for or should i just go for the 3GS.

The iPhone should be with us in the UK in August but they will probably do their usual and only give the UK about 10 phones just to make the pain a little worse. People complain about the iPhone not changing their design but why should they? I watch the Gadget show all the time and love it, seriously it's my favourite show but when the have a task and need a smartphone they might do half of it with the iPhone but then move onto the Nokias or HTC. I can tell in their little gadget geek faces that they hate using other phones. The iPhone doesn't just look the shizzle but is the shizzle. Whatever apple do it will blow other phones out of the park...FACT!
