iPad 3G to go on sale tomorrow
iPad – 3G coming on Vodafone
The iPad 3G will be available on the high street from tomorrow, complete with Vodafone’s 3G data plan, so say multiple insider sources.
According to website Electricpig, you’ll be able to get a ready-to-rock Apple iPad 3G from PC World tomorrow. There are no more details on the exact pricing of the package, but be sure to check out the opening hours of your local PC World if you want to secure an iPad 3G.
It was revealed earlier this week that the iPad would be on sale in Currys and PC World stores as well as the usual Apple Emporiums.
In other news it seems that those who ordered the Apple iPad for pre-order may be receiving their preciouses today – 245 hours earlier than scheduled.
If you haven’t already ordered, your best bet is to set your alarm for early o’clock tomorrow and get down to one of the retailers.
What do you think? Has your iPad arrived or are you going to shell out on one? Let us know below…

I really want an ipad, but what puzzles me is how the 3G works? because i assume no company with 3G is going to let you use their brilliant wireless network for free, so how much extra do i have to pay for that.... I could get one with Wi-Fi only, but what would the point in that be? it'd be such a hassle and a pain i think it would make me dislike the ipad. So If anyone knows about the 3G, let us all know

Hi Student Tech, you can buy 3G data sim card from pcworld, currys and carpnwarehouse im sure to use with ur ipad. There is the Pay as u go sims or 30 day contract sim, just pop in to ur local branch. By the way if u get the wifi only model, u can always get 3network mi-fi to go with it for about £40 on pay as u go, google mi-fi. Tech Head

Having had my mitts on my 16gig 3G beauty for a few hours I am already smitten. The interface is easypeasy, apps library building up, iPod synched and even bashed out a few docs in iwork. So far so good. I'll just try to forget about the price.

As nice as it is, it's just a glorified Iphone. You have to admire Apples marketing machine. You also have to wonder how much the Gadget Show were paid for it's product placment in last weeks show. As gadgets go it's over priced and over rated.

Have had my WiFi 64Gig pad since friday, its brilliant, I dont do word processing or spreadsheets at home, but if i did i have 2 MACS for that, its brilliant for BBC i player and 5 watch again service, Itunes movies are clear bright and crisp looking, much better then a cheap portable DVD or lap top.Great for surfing too. Dead easy to synch with mac for e mails and apps

I bought the 64GB 3G version and its brilliant. I have no regrets buying one at all.
