iMac update on the way?
iMac – new version incoming?
An update to Apple’s iMac could be on the cards later this year, according to inside sources.
Apple has reportedly been letting third-party resellers of the all-in-one Mac that stock is running low. That generally means that the company is deliberately letting stocks run down so that an updated version can be released. Apparently it’s specifically stock of the 21.5-inch iMac that is running low, suggesting the basic model is about to get a spec revamp.
According to website AppleInsider, some US retailers have been told to keep stocks of the iMac low so that they won’t spend money on a new iMac until the new version is announced.
What do you think? Will you be holding out for a new iMac? What do you want to see in the specs? Let us know below.

i hadnt thought of 3d ... that would be cool specially on 27' if that gets an upgrade, i think if it is just the 21.5 getting the upgrade then it wont be major stuff like 3d, bluray or anything like that. people constantly speculate about touch screen, but if it isn't like the wacom cintiq range which i suggest checking out!! then i dont see any major point in a touch screen. i think maybe a nice new fresh design would be welcomed, unibody is a big thing at apple now so maybe sumin similar to that, in general slimmer and bigger would be good.
