iLuv iPod docks… especially this one

This new iPod dock from iLuv is getting showcased at CES. It’s iLuvly!

Prasie be to ‘Pod! iLuv has announced a new iPod dock. Okay, so we admit that iPod docks aren’t the most exciting widgets in all of Gadgetland and normally more bland than boiled chicken, but this bad boy’s different. It’s wall-mountable!

The iLuv i9500 definitely enters into the higher-end scale of iPod docks, opting for a vertical design that can hold four CDs as well as your iPod. It can even burn MP3 and WMA files to said CDs. It also handles SD cards and USB storage devices. Throw in a few extras – AM/FM radiowith PLL digital tuning technology and 32 presets, alarm clock functionality – and you’ve got one nifty way to put your ‘Pod on a pedestal.

But what about the sound? Hmm? With a 45W speakers and a somewhat sizeable subwoofer, this should have enough sonic muscle to fill even the largest of rooms with lovely stereo sound. Yes, even the room where Beardy Branson stores his money. Talking of money, there’s no word on a price yet. We wait with baited breath…
