Hyper Touch carbon fibre touchscreen guitar concept

Guitars have always been the coolest of the cool, but they’re also somewhat lacking when it comes to innovation. Not any more, if Hyper Touch has anything to do with it.

Gone are the frets: Hyper Touch has even removed the strings, making it arguable as to whether the Hyper Touch concept is even a guitar anymore. It looks like something you’d use alongside Guitar Hero.

It also looks absolutely amazing, with a flawless carbon fibre body, jaw dropping shape and a touchscreen display where you’d normally expect to find the strings.

The amount of frets can be altered, changing the sound altogether, and you can change the amount of ‘strings’ at the touch of an onscreen button, swapping from 6-string to 12-string to bass at a whim.

Designed by Max Battaglia, the Hyper Touch guitar is sadly just a concept at this stage. If ever there’s a gadget we want to look cool in the corner of our living room, however, this is it, so fingers crossed that it’s made into a reality.

its a nice idea but it will never beat the good old fashioned guitars, guitarists wont go for that type of thing...
