HTC Hero set for Android 2.0 update
The wonderful HTC Hero is going to get even better, courtesy of Android 2.0.
Smartphone manufacturer HTC has confirmed that its highly-rated Hero phone is set to get even better – thanks to an incoming Android 2.0 update.
HTC has confirmed that it is currently updating its impressive Sense user interface for Google’s upgraded operating system, but hasn’t given a clear indication of when this tweaking will be finished. It will be free, of course, and should deliver a shedload of top class new features to the Hero.
These will include the freshly-revealed Google Maps Navigation, the free turn-by-turn satnav that will be available on all Android 2.0-powered smartphones (at least in the US).
