HTC Desire HD coming in September?
HTC – tempting invite
Could the HTC Desire HD be coming to the UK next month? We’ve just received an invitation from the company, asking us to “Come and see what HTC has dreamt up”.
The enticing invitation is illustrated with some cloud-like pictures and an assurance that there will be more details to follow. Could this be the HD-toting update to the HTC Desire that we’ve seen leaking all over the internet?
Following on from the obligatory blurry soy pics, the HTC Desire HD seemed to gain verification with a full (unofficial) product video unleashed earlier this week. The HTC Desire HD runs on Android 2.2 Froyo, and sports an HTC Evo 4G-esque front face to the speaker grille on the top, the HTC HD2 style back panel and 3.5mm audio port placed on the bottom.
Given the dream tagline and the cloud imagery, it could be that there will be a whole new name for this device. The HTC Dream? The HTC Fantasy? The HTC Cloud? Place your personal bets below…

They can call it the HTC Smog as far as I'm concerned...I just want it and I want it NOW!! - not sure I can wait till September (although that it sooner than the rumours were suggesting) The pic looks more like smoke/fire - so perhaps it's be something like Flame
