Is this the greatest motorcycle suit ever created?
Wow! Check this out! It’s The Dark Knight’s leathers, soon to be available for super-hero wannabe bikers to wear whilst cruising around on their hogs.
The Dark Knight Batman leathers, currently being developed by Universal Designs, is undoubtedly one of the coolest bit of replica movie memorabilia we’ve ever seen. It includes a leather motorcycle jacket, pants, boots and gloves and looks awesome.
The suit itself is made from hi-tech components Batman himself would struggle to find. Strong Cordura Mesh Base with Heavy-duty 4 way stretch Spandex inserts for example. There’s also removable CE-approved body armour on both the jacket and pants. All this combined with a highly detailed, removable lightweight interior lining, form-moulded leather and Kevlar armour sections, make for a suit that’s as tough as it is awesome.
The only thing it doesn’t come with is Batman’s mask. Come to think of it, we might look a bit strange wearing our multi-coloured crash helmet with that…
