Hercules unveils real Slim speakers!

When we talk about the Pillars of Hecules we’re normally talking about the pub in Soho. This time we’re talking about the Hercules XPS 2.0 40 Slim standing speakers from the audio specialist.

After some multimedia speakers that look and sound equally stunning? The Hercules XPS 2.0 40 Slims sport a black laquer finish and are, what Hercules claims, the slimmest 2.0 channel speakers around! They stand just 6cm wide and are 23.5cm tall, making them discreet enough to not ruin your Feng Shui.

But don’t expect a lack of power just because they’re diminutive. With a power output of 8W per speaker, and 16W for 2.1 version with subwoofer, you can expect the bass from the Hercules XPS 2.0 40 Slims to shake the enamel off your teeth. Elsewhere it comes with a mini wired remote, headphone jack and line-in input.

Available from next month, the Hercules XPS 2.0 40 Slim speakers cost just £30, while the 2.1 version (with subwoofer) will set you back a cool half ton.
