Heinz Beanzawave is world's smallest microwave!
Nuke your beans next to your computer. Just don't get any sauce on the keyboard...
We’ve been fans of novelty USB gadgets for a long time (check out Jason’s top five USB gadgets), but the Heinz Beanzawave has to be up there with the Tape 2 PC USB deck and USB paper shredder (eh MPs?) as one of our all time favourites.
What is it? Well, it does what it says on the tin (ha ha). It’s a desktop microwave that plugs into your computer’s USB port and nukes your baked beans for lunch. A joint effort by GAMMA Microwave Technology and Heinz, it’s actually the world’s smallest microwave measuring 150×160x190mm.
Unfortunately, there’s no price or availability on the Heinz Beanzawave as of yet, as the model pictured is only a prototype. If it goes into production, it could be the best USB gadget of all time. Well, it’s either that or the USB chameleon…
