Guitar Bud - get your iPhone rocking

Not content with being a phone, a browser, a music player, a navigation system and all the rest, your iPhone can now act as your home recording studio – Paul Reed Smith Guitars has just released Guitarbud – an ingenious little cable that allows you to plug your axe straight into the headphone jack of your iPhone or 2nd gen iPod Touch.

Guitarbud can be used in conjunction with iTunes app JamAmp – a guitar amp simulator, tuner and training tool (£5.99), or virtually any guitar apps on iTunes tat you fancy.

You can even use the iPhone’s simple voice memo function to record your killer riffs. The GuitarBud is out now and will cost you £29.99
