Griffin Slaps a Nano on your wrist
Eight ways to slap yourself
We’ve already seen a couple of attempts at turning the suitably shaped new iPod nano into a wristwatch, but we reckon Griffin has finally got it right with the Griffin Slap Wristwatch.
And yes – for those of you with long memories or nostalgic sensibilities, they are deliberately designed to pay homage to those slap bracelet thingies from the 80s.
Just like its forebear from yesteryear, Griffin’s 2010 soft silicone take on the colourful wrist accessory is designed to be slapped on, but keeps your precious sixth-gen Apple music player safely nestled in place.
The volume and sleep/wake buttons, as well as the headphone socket, remain accessible through the silicone case, so you can tap the nano’s face to switch it from watch to music player mode, and control the iPod’s essential functions once you do.
Apple stores themselves will stock the black and pink versions of the Griffin Slap from next month, while a further six colours will be on offer from the Griffin website. No matter who you buy from, you’ll pay £19.99 apiece for these wrist-bound numbers.

Next we'll see one for the iPod Touch! It maybe a Nano but it's still a fairly chunky thing to have on your wrist. Especially if, like me, you've got super skinny wrists! Neat idea though, and love the colours

All I can say is keep up the good work, I fully enjoy watching the show, one thing I would add, is there any chance of seeing any of the farout gadgets, the kind we can't afford but eveybody would love to own.

Am i being silly but wouldnt it be a big pain in the butt if you had your headphones plugged into your wrist wouldnt it bring a whole heap of problems with every movement.

Loving the Luna but unless you have wireless headphones I wouldn't buy any of them. I constantly pulled my wires out of the Xbox controller until I went wireless and can see the same thing happening here. Still, progress is progress hopefully it won't take long :-)
