Griffin launches designer iPhone gear

Mobile accessories firm Griffin has teamed up with fashion house Prophetik to collaborate on a range of hand-made designer accessories for the iPhone and iPod touch.
Of course, there’s certainly no shortage of accessories for Apple kit as it is, but Griffin and Prophetik are aiming to stand out from the crowd by combining quality, sustainability and timeless style.
First to break cover is Folio for iPhone, a bifold wallet made from leather reclaimed from existing manufacturing processes. Each piece is hand-stitched, with separate internal compartments not only for your iPhone but also for cash, credit cards and business cards.
Hand-cut openings make sure the camera lens and dock connector remain accessible, and each piece is hand-stitched at Prophetik’s Nashville HQ to ensure maximum quality.
Further products will be added to the range in due course, but for now you can get your hands on your very own piece of sustainable designer protection for your iPhone, in brown or black, for a penny under £50.
