Google eBook store incoming 2010
Whisper it: Google's going down the e-library route with its Google Editions eBook Store
With e-readers sprouting up with more frequency than JLS at the moment, it was no surprise to learn that Google is stepping into the electronic book market, announcing its very own eBook store: Google Editions.
“But Google already has thousands of books in the public domain” you say. And you’d be correct. But this new eBook store, dubbed Google Editions, will offer a whopping 500,000 titles to e-reader obsessives from publishers signed up to the cause.
The e-reader market is definitely growing at a pace. With new hardware such as the Cool-er eBook and Sony Reader Touch popping up, as well as the Amazon Kindle finally being made available in the UK, it makes sense for Google to get in on the act. So when will you be able to start snaffling digital books from the big G? Towards the middle of 2010 is the touted roll-out date!

Google has supposedly made a great deal of free ebooks available on Sony e-Readers, but they are almost impossible to find in the e-library. Is there a list somewhere, or an easy way to find them? If not, it just seems like a phony advertising gimick.
