Get stripey with Adidas and Sennheiser

Get stripey with Adidas and Sennheiser A whole new meaning to 'running order'

If the idea of audio with three stripes sounds good to you, then we’d like to draw your attention to the limited edition Adidas-branded Sennheiser HD 25 headphones.

The black HD 25s have been given cool blue detailing, cables and earpieces as part of their Adidas makeover, and the sports brand’s iconic three stripes are very much present and correct, taking pride of place right on the cans themselves.

Of course, good looks are only skin deep, and the fact that these sporty DJ ‘phones are otherwise identical to conventional HD 25s may seem like a let-down, but given how good those conventional HD 25s are, we’ll let Sennheiser get away with it this time.

For the record, you get frequency response of between 16 and 2,200Hz, impedence of 70 ohms and are good for up to 120dB of audio punch. Under the surface, Sennheiser has made use of neodymium magnet systems and lightweight aluminium coils, and being DJ headphones you get the obligatory rotatable earpiece for one-ear listening.

The price for such three-striped DJ coolness? A small matter of £225.
