Get fit quick with this get fit quick kit Alright fatty! Too much turkey? Check out these sporty gadgets to drop down a notch on your belt

The Power Plate This is one of the all-time great gut-busting gadgets. Just stand on the vibrating plate doing a variety of “poses” to stimulate your muscles and reduce fat. Only problem? It’s expensive, so unless you’re more minted than a Polo factory, you’ll have to go to a specialist gym to use it.

Dirt Surfer Flexi-deck 20-inch Pro Take this two-wheel in-line skateboard down the park with you and you’ll be the talk of the half-pipe. We particularly like the BMX-style wheels that allow you to ride it on tarmac, grass, dirt, pretty much whatever you could think.

Wii Fit If there’s a more fun way to work out, we haven’t found it yet. Just hop on the Wii Balance Board and do a variety of exercise, from tightrope walking to ski jumping. Or you could go and try them for real. But we’ve always thought fresh air was overrated.

The Vasa Ergometer This training tool essentially allows you to swim in mid-air. It has an airflow resistance you see, acting as water does for swimmers and rowers. You’ll look a bit of a tool while doing it, especially if you wear your trunks, but you’ll be super fit in no time.

The X-Bike 1000 We love the X-Bike. Thanks to its moveable handles and seven levels of upper body resistance and 32 levels of pedaling resistance, it’s the closest you’ll get to having a real bike in your living room, without actually having one in there. Apparently it’s been used by the likes of Lance Armstrong. And he’s pretty fit.
