With all the iPod docks coming out of the woodwork you’d think it was, well, Christmas or something. The latest to get in on the fun, and with a positively merry red colour scheme to boot is GenevaSound with its System Model S iPod/iPhone dock, which – it claims – is a luxury alternative to conventional docks offering “an astonishingly wide and detailed sound”.
It achieves this thanks to a proprietary EmbracingSound audio technology, which widens the soundstage to simulate the effect of having two separate speakers.
You also get a high-quality FM tuner, an alarm clock and a separate stereo input, which GenevaSound allows TVs, PCs and laptops to be connected – another sign of its confidence in the Model S’ audio prowess.
