Gadgets you were glad you didn’t receive for Christmas… …And if you did, well, we’re REALLY sorry

Twilight Umbrellas Be glad Santa didn’t put this glowing umbrella under your tree this Christmas. Okay, so the British weather dictates that you need an umbrella more often than not, but certainly not one with flashing “funky, glowing lights.” Just get a normal brolly.

USB Chameleon Yep, it’s a chameleon that plugs into your USB port on your computer and he’ll roll his eyeballs, sick out his tongue, change colour and, oh no, that’s it. Utterly pointless.

Puchi Puchi Electronic Bubble Wrap keyring Another completely useless product, the Poptastic keyring remorselessly preys on the affliction that can only be termed as the Bubble Wrap addiction. Press the buttons and it’ll pop like a never-ending sheet of bubble wrap. No use whatsoever.

RC Tarantula Spiders hold many fears for many people. Not this radio-controlled tarantula, though. It moves about as fast as a radio-controlled snail and looks about as frightening as a little girl carrying candyfloss whilst riding a Shetland pony.

Gnome Bowling Quite frankly we’re sickened by the idea of Gnome Bowling. What did the Gnomes ever do to you? All they want is a quiet life, do a spot of fishing. Not to have to worry about being knocked over by a giant ball. LEAVE. THE. GNOMES. ALONE.
