Gadget Show Live Sneak Peek: JVC Everio GS-TD1

We’ve been keeping an eye on some of the toys you can expect to see at the Gadget Show Live next week, and some of them really are brilliant. The JVC Everio GS-TD1 is one of the gadgets that’s set to make an appearance, and it’s the first consumer Full HD 3D camcorder to hit the market.

Whatever you think about 3D technology, it looks like it’s here to stay, so best to embrace it now! Whether you’ve already got a 3D TV, or planning on waiting for glasses-free technology to hit the market first, the idea of being able to make your own 3D films or record precious family moments in 3D sounds pretty appealling to us.

The JVC Everio GS-TD1 pairs two lenses together on the front of the camera, with two 3.32-megapixel sensors to handle images and video. There’s 64GB of integrated storage space for your videos, with extra space available via an SDXC storage slot. You’ll also be able to watch everything you’ve shot straight away in 3D, thanks to a flip out monitor that displays images without the need for 3D specs.

How well the JVC Everio GS-TD1 works remains to be seen, but we’ll be trying our best to get our hands on it at the Gadget Show Live next week, so check back here soon.
