Gadget Show Live Sneak Peek: B&W Zeppelin Air

The Gadget Show Live is coming up next week, and we’ve been keeping an eye out for some of the kit that will be there. Among others, the new B&W Zeppelin Air iPod dock will make an appearance, and we can’t wait to get our hands on it.

The original B&W Zeppelin was an icon, standing out from the hundreds of other iPod docks on the market, with stunning styling and sound quality to match. The B&W Zeppelin Air iPod dock others equally amazing styling, but adding Apple’s AirPlay music streaming technology.

Never before has an iPod dock looked so good, with the Bowers & Wilkins Zeppelin Air iPod dock looking even slimmer and more streamlined than the original. Connections for the B&W Zeppelin Air iPod dock include Ethernet – for wired connections to your home network, aux-in and USB.

Thanks to the inclusion of AirPlay, you can also stream music straight from your Apple computer and iTunes to the B&W Zeppelin Air, without the need for wires. You can even stream music from your Apple iPad or Apple iPhone. As before, there’s a regular dock for portable devices, so you can also charge your handset at the same time as listening to music.

Whether the B&W Zeppelin Air turns out to sound as good as it looks remains to be seen, but we’ll bring you a sneak preview when we get out hands on it at the Gadget Show Live next week.
