Frame! I wanna live forever! It's Kodak's new OLED photo frame
The world's first OLED photo frame!
As if paper-thin tellies weren’t enough, Kodak has now unveiled the world’s first OLED photo frame to make your sharp-shooting appear, well, just that. It also frees up your mantelpiece for other junk like Toby mugs… or mugshots of your mate Toby.
The Kodak OLED Wireless Frame has a generous 7.6-inch widescreen panel with an astronomical 30,000:1 contrast ratio, so even the blackest of caves will appear as lush as when you first got lost in them. And with 2GB of built-in-memory there’s room for 10,000 photos!
The frame also has a card reader and USB connection for plopping your pics into it. Alternatively you can ping them over via Wi-Fi (hence the name), or stream photos from your PC via your collection or photo sharing sites such as Flickr or the Kodak Gallery.
The OLED frame will be landing on US mantelpieces later this year for a reassuringly pricey $999 (£556). Still no news as to when it’ll be hitting the UK, though.
