Forza 4 takes top spot of UK top 10 games chart
Forza 4 has only been out for a few days, but already it’s raced to the top of the UK games charts. It knocks FIFA 12 off the top spot, making it a good month for games that are suitable for all age groups. Read on to see the rest of the top ten.
With so many fighting and shooting games on offer, the UK games chart is usually full of titles with different age ratings that aren’t suited for all sorts of gamer.
Check out our Forza 4 games review!
This month is different, with a host of non-violent games on offer, topped by Forza 4. It’s easy to understand why Forza has climbed to the top of the list, and when we reviewed it we came to the following conclusion:
“The best racing game this generation. Forza Motorsport 4 delivers everything Forza fans will have hoped for, and more. Forza Motorsport 4 achieves the holy grail of being easy to pick up and play, yet challenging to master. It’s the racing game for everyone. A true must-buy.”
The outstanding FIFA 12 – itself a new entry to the charts a couple of weeks ago – has been knocked down to second place, with Just Dance 3 in at third place.
RAGE is sitting tight at number four, with Pro Evolution Soccer 2012 coming in at number five. Gears of War 3, Dark Souls, Zumba Fitness, F1 2011 and Jonah Lomu Rugby Challenge round out the top ten.

get it in your head granturismo is better. Forza always has acartoony essence to it. In the old one it showed only old cars had crankshafts? Realy(signature phrase) In granurismo you can customise your cars settings to combat understeer plus you only get understeer depending on how you drive it. in my advice turn in early and press the throttle as lightly as you can especially in high-end race cars.Try granturismo there is nothing else like it

t, there's no way in this world that gt5 is better. I'm no xbox fanboy either. I have both gt5 and Forza 4, and even with patch 2.0, gt5 is staying in it's box. Things in gt5 narked me, like when u move forward or reverse, even slowly, you get half a wheelspin.. The lack of backfire sounds, collision detection, i could go on. The physics and weight in forza are miles infront, the cars in gt5 fly if you hit a bump.. and its like your chin is glued to the dashboard on interior view. all that shaking.. I liked the models in gt5, but the models in forza far surpass it. double the poly count, and the shaders made for the different materials look phenomenal. Interiors are all there, and all to an excellent standard, lighting & reflections whoop gt5's, it sounds a LOT better, also the suspension and undulations in the tracks are awesome, ie: gt5 has not got the hump at the end of gambon, It's a total package, not released as an unfinished product. and the dlc is gonna keep it right up there with the best. Turn 10 have done the best with the hardware they have. Nice one guys.. ps3 fanboys will always say gt5 is better.. bet they dont have as much fun playing it ;0)
