Flip Mino HD finally available: flipping fantastic!
The Flip Mino HD has finally made its way to our shores!
It’s been a long wait for the Hi-Def version of Flip’s super-small, super-cheap camcorder to reach these shores but the good news is it’s finally, finally here. It’s been available stateside for four long months, but the pocket-sized movie-maker is now available in the UK too.
Like its other Flip siblings, the Mino HD is extra easy to use – just hit the big red record button to start shooting and it’ll go right ahead gobbling up pictures for you. It’s loaded with 4GB of internal memory, which should be good for around one hour of 720p HD video goodness.
When you’re done shooting your masterpiece, flip out the integrated USB connector and plug it straight into your PC. It charges via USB, so there’s no batteries or extra cables to mess around with and it even comes loaded with its own software to edit and upload your finished piece so you’ll be done in double quick time.
The folks at Firebox have managed to get hold of a lorry load and they’ll sell you one for a reasonable £169.95 if you ask nicely.
