Fan of football? Got an iPhone 3G? Then you, my son, should consider getting the latest iPhone app to hit the iPhone App Store today from Five. It will offer UK iPhone owners the chance to watch UEFA Europa League matches on their Messiah Mobile!
Five’s app will give iPhone and Touch owners access to the UEFA Europa League (formerly known as the UEFA Cup), starting with tonight’s glamour tie – Celtic vs Rapid Vienna. To access it, just snaffle up the app off the iPhone App Store for £3.99 and you’ll get access to all of Five’s Thursday night games and highlights packages from this season’s tournament.
The head of digital media at Five, Jonathan Lewis, had this to say about the service: “The app is attractively priced and means never having to miss a minute of live action when you’re on the move. It also exemplifies Five’s ambition to extend the reach of our long-form, ad-supported video content to as many platforms as possible.”
Okay, so it’s not the Champions’ League, but hey. It’s football. On your iPhone. Back of the net!
