Finally, it's Volvo - The Game!

Finally, it's Volvo - The Game! Volvo - The Game: the least inspiring name for a game ever?

Fans of gaming and Volvos (never thought we’d be writing that sentence!), your time has finally come. Volvo – The Game is set for release on May 26!

That’s right, Volvo – The Game is not a joke. Volvo’s teamed up with fellow Swedes SimBin Studios to create a videogame that’ll help promote the Volvo S60 Concept to a completely new audience.

Admittedly, it doesn’t look that great, but in the current market, it appears car manufacturers will try anything. The game itself is for PC and will feature two “highly detailed tracks”, a number of Volvo cars and a selection of difficulty levels, and will allow you to “test drive” the cars digitally. But the best bit about this decidedly average game is that it’s going to be free.

Whether it’ll stop Volvo going the way of General Motors (being swallowed up by FIAT – nobody wants that) remains to be seen.
