Energizer Induction Charger for Wii Remote kills the wires! Charge your Wii Remote without the frustration of wires cluttering your desk

Your Nintendo Wii Remote controller is so innovative it needs an innovative way of charging it. Step forward the Energizer Induction Charger.

The Energizer Induction Charger is a handy desktop unit that allows for contact-less charging for two Wii Renotes at once! You don’t even need to take them out of their protective cases! Pretty good, no? So, how does it work? Well, the Wii Remote uses the contactless induction technology that’s also used in the Palm Touchstone. Okay, so it’s not exactly new tech, but it’s the first time it’s been used for gaming controllers!

You can leave the charger as you want, pretty much – laid flat or standing – and once the Wii Remote’s battery’s full an orange light turns green. There’s no release date as of yet, but it should cost around £35.
