Say goodbye to mouldy food quarters

Students and dirty fridges go together like, well, horse flies and faeces. Anyway, now that vivid analogies out the way, allow us to introduce the Electrolux Flatshare fridge.

It’s one of the nine finalists in the pretigious Electrolux Design Lab 2008 competition, and could be just the solution to students’ foody needs. No more of your flatmates’ dodgy dansaks from the local curry house dripping into your yoghurt here!

With four large, separate compartments for each person, it’ll at least go some way to ending the food wars on campus. There are also smaller sections for fruit and veg too, or Pot Noodle containers, depending on your student diet of course.

The Flatshare Fridge, via a colourful collection of customisable skins, also brings some much-needed colour to the skanky world of student fridgets. You know, like a gaffiti artist on a sink estate – only a talented one, not one who just draws genitalia.
