Eclipse £5k speakers are out of this world!

Eclipse £5k speakers are out of this world! Introducing the Eclipse TD712zMK2 speakers: at £5k a pair, they're not cheap!

Crazy speakers, like the Eclipse TD712zMK2, are ten a penny. But you won’t get ten of these space-craft-looking speakers for your penny here, because these floor-standing sound-blasters cost a whopping £5,000 per pair! In these current economic climes, that’s a deposit on a mansion in Croydon!

Anyway, once you get past the oh-so hefty price tag, and remember that the TD712zMK2 (catchy name, by the way!) is made by audio specialists Eclipse, you start to understand. It’s taken the audio-masters five years to make this beauty (they obviously added a grand for ever year they were in the factory), but it now has a more powerful motor system for the drive unit than its predecessor, a re-designed damping system, and high-density zinc internal components to boost the bass and treble response.

What all that means in English is that this sounds as good as it looks. The egg-shaped speakers are reminiscent of little jet engines that you’d find on a space ship in a sci-fi flick, but actually eliminate the resonance you’d get from normal, wooden speakers.

All in all then, these are some awesome speakers. Just make sure you ask the wife before you spend your life savings on them. Okay?
