eBay offers 50 free listings a month for all
Will free listings bring the numbers back to eBay?
Online auction site eBay is to give its users 50 free listings a month as from next month in a bid to lure them back to the site.
eBay has seen its appeal fade in recent years with the emergence of Amazon Marketplace, which offers users the peace of mind and convenience of acting as a mediator between buyer and seller, lessening the amount of direct contact needed between the two.
But eBay hopes the lure of free listings will attract users to using the auction service again, and to sweeten the deal further plans to charge a lower commission on sold items from July.
“We think these changes will really improve the marketplace for both buyers and sellers. We’re listening to our customers. We’re trying to understand their needs,” said eBay vice president Todd Lutwak.
Another change in the pipelines is an increase to the commission charged on postage – eBay’s way of trying to encourage users to offer free shipping as standard.

Hi, Re: eBay offers 50 free listings a month for all Just to let you know that this is incorrect. It's something that's up and running on their US site, eBay,com, but isn't available on eBay.co.uk

Might be an idea to look at eBay.co.uk site and not the .com site. This news is about the .com site ie the USA not the UK!

http://linuxforum.com/profile/?u=35850 I was playing an app on Facebook (Graffiti) and my Mac warned me that the page may contain malware. Of course I ignored it because I wanted to draw more with the app, and when i was done the page scrolled up by itself and my curser moved across the screen a bit on its own. Does my Mac have a virus? are there any built-in features that could be of assistance? are there any anti-virus programs safe to use on my Mac?
