Duracell – making battery charging cool

OK, so it might only be a battery charger, but The Duracell Instant Charger is the coolest looking one we’ve seen to date.

The Duracell Instant Charger “Designer” version has just gone one sale in the UK, and the company claims that Apple and BMW inspired the sleek, ergonomic lines.

As well as powering up your rechargeable batteries, the Instant Charger also pretty handy if you’ve got an iPhone or other battery-hungry blower which can connect by USB: just plug it in and the lithium ion reserve inside will charge it up on the go. It’ll set you back £34.99.

Also on sale alongside the Duracell Instant Charger is the Fast 1 Hour Charger, which you can top up with AA or AAA bateries (£32.99), and the Duracell Easy Charger, which tops gadgets up in 6 to 8 hours for a cheaper £9.99.
