Denon launches 'mid-range' 3D Blu-ray deck
The Denon DBP-2012UD loves 3D Blu-ray as much as you do
There’s no question that 3D Blu-ray is one of the more exciting new technologies around right now, and if you’re looking to partner that excitement with the quality of one of the leading AV brands in town, Denon has a player you might want to take a look at.
The DBP-2012UD actually sits in the middle of Denon’s Blu-ray range, but to the ordinary punter that means high-end – £750 to be exact. But for that you get some high-end quality too, including the same structural and electrical design as the premium 4010UD and A1UD models.
On top of 3D Blu-ray playback there’s also upscaled DVD and CD playback along with a USB port for playing back various digital formats, including MP3 and WMA audio and DivX video.
Denon has separated the audio and video circuits, which it claims delivers superior quality, while other high-end digital wizardry includes the Anchor Bay Technologies VRS video processor, Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio, and 32-bit music playback.
All of that and you get to choose between black and silver. The Denon DBP-2012UD will be out in March.
